Is installation easy? Is it compatible with standard PPR?

It uses the same heat-fusion socket welding method, and fittings are compatible with standard PPR. However, before welding, a special stripping tool must be used to remove the aluminum layer at the pipe end so the PPR layer can fuse directly with the fitting; the process is simple, and workers can master it after just a couple of tries.

The aluminum layer is sandwiched in the middle, isolated from both water and air, so it won't oxidize or rust. The pipe is rigid, making it resistant to bending during handling and installation-a real plus for hassle-free construction. Pipe clamp spacing can be much wider than with standard PPR, saving on both auxiliary materials and labor costs.

 

How to choose specifications

Branch lines for home renovation: 20mm, 25mm;

Main supply line (entry point): 32mm;

Project main lines: Available in sizes from 40mm to 110mm.

For cold water, choose the S5/S4 series;

For hot water, the S3.2/S2.5 series is the preferred choice.

How to distinguish genuine aluminum-composite pipe

Check the end face: Cut the pipe to view the cross-section; genuine pipe features a continuous aluminum tube in the middle with a clear five-layer structure, rather than just a thin layer of aluminum foil.

Test conductivity: The aluminum layer is continuous, so a multimeter will show conductivity between the two ends; fake pipes with an aluminum coating do not conduct electricity.

Rigidity test: Noticeably stiffer than solid PPR.

Check for deformation: Pour hot water over the pipe; standard PPR softens and bends noticeably, whereas aluminum-composite pipe remains virtually undeformed.
